The Wabanaki is the technical term for all four federally recognized tribes residing in the state of Maine; Penobscot, Passamaquoddy, Maliseet and Mi'kmaq Nations. Oftentimes all four tribes come together to fight for indigenous rights in Maine as an alliance and we share customs and languages as well as family.
